Meet The Team - Osteopaths

James Bates - Osteopath & Owner

James Bates BSc (Hons) graduated from the European school of Osteopathy. He is an experienced Osteopath with over 17 years of dedicated practice in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. He is passionate about helping patients restore movement and manage their pain.


He specialises in a wide range of musculoskeletal issues, from back and neck pain to sports injuries and postural imbalances.


James combines hands-on techniques with evidence-based advice to support lasting recovery and improved overall wellbeing.


Committed to continuous professional development, James remains up to date with the latest advances in osteopathic medicine helping provide the best patient care. 


Whether working with acute injuries or chronic conditions, James takes pride in offering compassionate and effective treatment that allows patients to take control of their health.

Seti - Osteopath & Sports Therapist

Seti qualified in 2012 with a Bachelor's degree in Sports Therapy and brings over 12 years of experience in the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries. 


His extensive background spans private clinical practice, corporate health, and elite sport.

He previously worked as an Assistant Sports Therapist for the Nottingham Panthers Ice Hockey Club, providing match-day support and hands-on injury management in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. 


Throughout his career, Seti has worked with a diverse range of clients—from elite and recreational athletes to office-based professionals—helping them recover from injury, manage pain, and optimise movement.


Motivated by a deep commitment to helping others, Seti recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Osteopathy to refine his clinical skills and broaden his holistic approach to health. He combines osteopathic principles with his expertise in sports therapy, electrotherapies, strength and conditioning, movement rehabilitation, and non-medical nutritional advice.


As a former competitive athlete himself, Seti has a first-hand understanding of the demands of sport and injury. He places equal importance on the psychological and physiological aspects of pain and recovery, ensuring that each treatment plan is individually tailored to support long-term health and performance.

Viki - Sports Massage Therapist

Viki specialises in Sports Massage as well as deep tissue work, and has over a decade of experience in sports coaching and personal training. She is also currently a Gymnastics coach, working with young competitive athletes, and has experience in mixed martial arts, strength and conditioning, lifting, group exercise, netball, hockey and youth work.
Viki's background is in helping people and athletes in particular manage their general wellness, pain, injury and rehabilitation. She enjoys working with a range of clients, from office workers to athletes, and people generally living with long term conditions and disabilities.

Dr Theresa Harvey-Dunstan

Dr Theresa Harvey-Dunstan is a clinical specialist physiotherapist in Renal Transplant Weight Management and is a specialist in COPD at the Nottingham University Hospitals. She is also an Hon. Associate Professor of Physiotherapy at the University of Nottingham. 
Since qualifying as a physiotherapist in 1997 she has completed a Masters Degree in Respiratory Physiotherapy  (2006) and a PhD (2018). PhD was titled "Comprehensive comparison of the properties of common exercise outcome measures for patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease". She is also a fellow of higher education (FHEA) having attained a PGCHE in 2021.
Theresa has over 25 years experience in the NHS as a Specialist Cardio-Respiratory Practitioner with special interests in medical respiratory, pulmonary rehabilitation, COPD (acute and chronic), exercise testing/physical activity, Post COVID Breathlessness and breathing pattern disorders. Theresa started offering a private service following COVID, and has continued to offer this provision through a small clinic most Saturdays. If you are experiencing breathlessness, chronic cough, frequent chest infections or reduced exercise tolerance due to either of these, you may find this clinic of benefit.
